2024-2026 District 11 Service Project
The Zonta Clubs of District 11 are joining forces to support the mission of Rethreaded, a nonprofit organization that provides employment and support for survivors of human trafficking. Rethreaded empowers women by offering them a second chance through meaningful work, particularly in crafting upcycled products from donated materials. As part of our partnership, we are collecting gently used t-shirts to contribute to their projects, helping to transform lives one thread at a time.

We reached our goal!
At the District 11 Conference, members of Zonta District 11 came together for a meaningful service effort that showcased the power of collective impact. Clubs across the district collected and brought a remarkable 11,000 t-shirts to donate to Rethreaded, a nonprofit that transforms donated textiles into sustainable products while providing employment opportunities for survivors of human trafficking.
This incredible contribution will help divert thousands of pounds of fabric from landfills while directly supporting Rethreaded’s mission to renew hope, reignite lives, and reweave communities. The generosity and dedication of District 11 members truly demonstrate Zonta’s commitment to empowering women and creating a more sustainable future.
