Zonta envisions a world where no woman lives in fear of violence and Zontians from the Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva were out today at the Sanibel Island Farmers Market raising awareness!

As a club, we recently read Credible: Why We Doubt Accusers and Protect Abusers by Deborah Tuerkheimer which explains why we as a society don’t believe the women who make claims of sexual harassment and abuse, the harm this doubt causes survivors and discusses how we can help change this culture to protect the women instead of the perpetrators. This book identifies the problem so that we can be the solution.
